V-SEAL Expert Recommendations:

Retail commercial floor sealers must adhere to certain federal guidelines and laws while being durable, attractive, and easy to clean. A combination of penetrating concrete sealers, such as V‑SEAL 101 and Industra‑Seal 117A should be used along with Topical coatings, such as CreteFx kits, TK6 NanoCoat, and Industra-Gloss WB.

 

A paint roller is the best way to apply both V‑SEAL 101 concrete penetrating sealer and  CreteFx kits. Be sure to maintain a wet edge to avoid roller marks and do not apply the product on too thick.

Suggested Product Types:

Penetrating Sealers:
Crystallize minerals in the substrate just below the surface. V-SEAL offers sealers that are hydrophobic and oleophobic.

Topical Sealers:
Form a membrane layer over the substrate surface adding protection from moisture stains, chemicals, grease, gas, oils, and adding decorative elements such as high shine or color.

    Before applying penetrating sealers, surfaces must be dry and free of loose debris.

    INDUSTRA-GLOSS WB does not require mixing, but it should be stirred thoroughly prior to application.

    Surfaces treated with V-SEAL Sealers are more abrasion resistant and more resistant to chemicals and water than untreated concrete.

    V-SEAL 101 and 102 do not require mixing and should be applied uniformly with a broom, roller, or low-pressure sprayer.

    Immediately disperse any puddles that form as a result of excessive application.

    If rolling application, roll in a “V” or “W” pattern, working quickly to apply the product thin and evenly.

    Spread ReKRETE evenly over the concrete going long ways, then width ways, in a crossover pattern, to ensure a smooth layering on the surface.
